SitkaTribalEnterprises
Heritage Meets Commerce.
Sitka Tribal Enterprises needed to bring two of its core operations online—the Sheet’ká Kwáan Naa Kahídì Community House and the e-commerce gift shop. Both are rooted in Tlingit heritage, and both needed digital infrastructure that could handle real commercial activity without compromising cultural integrity.
No Digital Presence
The Community House and gift shop had no meaningful digital footprint. No way for visitors to book, browse, or buy online—and no infrastructure to support it if they could.
Two vital enterprises, completely invisible online.
Commerce Meets Culture
These are not conventional businesses. They are community-owned enterprises rooted in Tlingit heritage. Any digital platform needed to generate revenue and handle e-commerce while treating the cultural context with absolute respect.

The Enterprises

Advisory First. Then Build.
Sant began with strategic advisory—working with the leadership team to define the right digital approach for the Community House and the gift shop. Once the strategy was agreed, we built the platform.
- —Strategic advisory on digital presence for both enterprises
- —Designed and built the Sitka Tribal Enterprises website
- —E-commerce platform for the gift shop—bookings, tickets, and merchandise
- —Community House digital presence with event and cultural programme visibility
- —Culturally appropriate design language throughout

Two Enterprises. One Platform. Live.
The Community House and e-commerce gift shop now operate on a shared digital platform with culturally grounded design, live commerce, and a single point of entry for visitors and community alike.
Community Enterprise
Deserves Real Infrastructure.
Sant builds platforms for organisations where cultural integrity and commercial viability must coexist. If your mission is bigger than your margin, we should talk.
