The modern patient journey starts with a search
Over 75% of New Zealanders search online when choosing a healthcare provider. They want to see who you are, what you specialise in, whether you're taking new patients, and how to book an appointment — all before picking up the phone.
Many NZ clinics and practices still rely on Healthpoint listings or a basic page from their PHO. These don't reflect the quality of your care, don't allow online booking, and certainly don't help patients choose you over the practice down the road.
For specialists in particular, the referral landscape is changing. GPs increasingly check specialist websites when making referrals. A professional online presence that clearly communicates your expertise, wait times, and booking process makes it easier for referring practitioners to send patients your way.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. We don't store patient health information on the website. Booking links redirect to your existing patient management system. The website is an information and entry point, not a clinical tool.
We link to your existing patient portal for online booking. For Build in a Day, this is a direct link. Deeper integration is available through our Launch service.
Smartphone photos in good lighting work well. We can advise on how to take team photos that look professional. Alternatively, we can design without photos initially and add them later.
We can set up basic new patient enquiry forms. Full online enrolment with clinical forms is better handled through your PMS and would be part of a Launch engagement.
We design with accessibility as a priority — large readable text, high contrast, clear navigation, screen reader compatibility. Healthcare websites must be usable by everyone.
